A bold, chunky hand-blown glass piece from Oiva Toikka’s Tunturissa (In the Fells) series, produced by Nuutajärvi in the 1980s. Each work in the series is unique, and this version of the Ruska bottle displays an organic blend of vibrant reds, deep browns, and metallic tones that shift beautifully in the light.
The rounded body and narrow neck emphasize Toikka’s painterly glass technique, where color and form merge into a molten, atmospheric surface. Expressive yet balanced, it reflects Toikka’s experimental late-period work at Nuutajärvi - pieces that blur the line between sculpture and vessel.
