Large MCM studio pottery lidded stoneware vessel by Joel Edwards, circa 1960s. The incised piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and measures 9"D x 7.5"H; it is signed on the underside. Great color and texture on this amazing piece of MCM stoneware! #2815
Edwards was based in Los Angeles, CA. He studied at Otis Art Institute under Peter Voulkos. He was also the creator of the vanguard craft periodical, “Creative Crafts” Magazine, 1960-1964.
