La Porcellana Arzberg è un marchio tedesco di porcellane con una storia che affonda le radici nel 1887. È celebre a livello internazionale per il suo design moderno, funzionale e senza tempo, che l'ha resa un classico del design industriale. L'azienda fu fondata nel 1887 ad Arzberg, in Baviera, in un'epoca in cui la dicitura "Made in Germany" stava emergendo come marchio di qualità. La filosofia di Arzberg è sempre stata incentrata sulla fusione di funzionalità ed estetica. L'obiettivo era creare stoviglie di alta qualità per l'uso quotidiano che fossero pratiche e belle, riducendo l'eccesso di decorazione a favore della chiarezza delle forme.
La storia del marchio è indissolubilmente legata a designer che hanno rivoluzionato il concetto di porcellana da tavola:
Dr. Hermann Gretsch (Anni '30): Il suo progetto più famoso, la Forma 1382 (del 1931), è considerato un capolavoro del design moderno. È uno dei pochi oggetti in porcellana esposti al Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) di New York e ha vinto numerosi premi internazionali.
Heinrich Löffelhardt (Anni '50): Ha disegnato la famosa collezione Form 2000, continuandone la tradizione di funzionalità.
