An 18th century Anatolian terracotta storage jar with applied wavy banding and remnants of old whitewash, suggesting long use and age. Originally for olive oil or grain, now a sculptural element with striking surface texture. Presented in a custom iron stand. Turkish, Ottoman Empire. Mounted in a later iron stand. 36” h. in stand 30” no stand, 19” diam.
