Set of six 19th century French pharmacy apothecary jars, each crafted in fine white porcelain with domed lids topped by gilt finials and decorated with neoclassical caduceus and laurel motifs in vivid blue, green, and gold. The jars are labeled in period French for medicinal contents, with translations as follows: "Ong: Basilic" (Basil Ointment), "Ext: Quassi" (Quassia Extract), "Ung: Epispast: V" (Epispastic Ointment, likely vesicant or blistering agent), "Past: Goma" (Gum Paste), "Vaseline" (Petroleum Jelly), and "Empl: Simple" (Simple Plaster).
