About the Item

Vertical rounded section vase in white ceramic by Franco Pozzi Ceramiche, made in Italy , Gallarate , Milan. Particular object perfect to style a bookcase, sideboard or table, can be used to hold and keep flowers or just itself as it is . Franco Pozzi founded the “Ceramica Pozzi” factory in 1942 with headquarters in Bolladello di Tradate, in the province of Varese. In 1953 he moved the production to Gallarate, in the province of Varese, and helped by his sons Carlo, who takes care of the administrative part, and Ambrogio who has the role of artistic and technical director. Under Ambrogio’s artistic vision the company start the production of ceramics in earthenware, porcelain and stoneware, inspired by the most modern production concepts and industrial design. Over the years, among others, the following collaborate with the manufacturer: Giò Ponti, Ettore Sottsass, Enrico Baj, Arnaldo Pomodoro and Tullio Pericoli.
