About the Item
Set of 3 (of nine) big herbalist apothecary wooden jars (mint leaves, verbena flowers, viola flowers), in the purest Neoclassical style. The surface is finished with pastiglia white-cream with saffron color cartouche and gold decoration finishing parts, the names of the herbs in black color. Proceeding from the herborist-apothecary of a convent in Sicily. Italy circa 1870. (Sold also separatley 1100 Euro each).
