This unique antique French milk jug, also known as a canne à lait, was used in the 19th century to transport milk from the farm to the house or to the market. It is a handmade piece, crafted from brass, and exceptionally large. What makes it unique is the warm, weathered patina and the numerous signs of wear. This gives the jug a characteristic and authentic appearance. It dates back to around 1820. 47cm high, 40cm wide, 37cm diameter.
