This unique antique French milk jug, also known as a canne à lait, was used in the 19th century to transport milk from the farm to the house or to the market. It is a handmade piece, crafted from brass and copper, and exceptionally large. A unique model with a tap at the bottom.
The jug is beautifully polished and a true eye-catcher. It dates from around 1875.
