Pre-Columbian Terracotta Vessel, Colima, Western Mexico A classic shaman’s head vessel having a horn strapped onto the forehead with a slip-painted headband, coffee bean eyes, sharp nose and slit mouth. The ears are pierced and there are nice mineral deposits overall. A collection number has been painted on the bottom, COL-24. It measures 7 by 7.25 by 7 inches (17.7 by 18.4 and 17.7 cm). Intact.
