If you're leaving on long journey, friends might say, “Su gibi git, su gibi gel (Go like water, return like water),” while tossing water behind you to wish a safe journey. If you think a person is effortlessly attractive, you might say they are “su gibi güzel” (beautiful like water). Or your compliments can be shortened to “su gibi” (like water).
