About the Item
A striking late 18th century pottery cachepot in blue and white, flanked to each side by a face, (on one side the features of the face are completely gone) wonderful shape and size on a raised foot. There is obvious time worn wear, knock, abrasions, small chips etc throughout, to be expected from years of use. These is a small hole in the bottom to allow water to escape.
