A late 19th century French Napoleon III marquetry jardinière with inlaid veneers of maple and mahogany. Bronze-mounted with two handles, gallery and trim. Original zinc liner may not be water tight. A beautiful planter for the display of orchids. Overall good restored condition with minor losses. Circa 1880-1900. Dimensions: 17"W x 10.5"D x 6.5"H
