About the Item
This Sterling Silver essence holder box was handmade in Milan - Italy by Vavassori silverware.
The body of the box is shaped, having a larger upper part and slopes towards the base with a smaller diameter.
The essence holder box is characterized by a concave "organ pipe" chiselling, interspersed with embossed drop.
The lid, always repeating the same decoration as the body of the object, was pierced with 12 holes to allow the perfume of the essences to expand into the air of the room where it was placed.
The comfortable chiseled handle allows you to easily open the box when you need to add fragrances inside.
Italian silverware, already with a centuries-old tradition, had a great development in the twentieth century and produced pieces of the highest quality that the whole world envies us. Italian craftsmanship had a kind of new Renaissance after the war.
Thus was born a large number of high quality silverware where exceptional pieces are produced that today decorate the most prestigious houses.
