Antique French Majolica Jardinière Onnaing Tiger Monkey Jungle Cache Pot Planter.
Direct from France, a gorgeous 19th century antique French majolica jardinière or cache pot!
The cache pot is an elegant shape with deeply scalloped upper rim and trophy style handles on either side. The upper design is a large shell and floral with the main body features a tiger in the jungle on one side, and a monkey riding a stag or hound on the other side!
A lovely whimsical Onnaing design, hand painted in rich tones of blues, greens, and browns and traditional pale blue interior. Onnaing stamped on the bottom, circa1890.
Measurements: 8.75” ht. x 11.5” x 8.5”.
