About the Item

An antique Japanese Meiji Era cylindrical shaped enamel over brass brush pot. Circa: 19th century. The cylindrical form pot is enameled with polychrome medallions with butterflies in blossoming flowers surrounded by a scrollwork motif and images of Phoenix birds on the sides made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the ware are adorned with a geometrical pattern made in the same technique. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Pots, Table and Desk Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE. REFER TO PHOTOS. H 5 1/2 X D 4 IN.
