About the Item

An antique Japanese Meiji cloisonne enamel metal brush pot. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. The cylindrical form pot is adorned with polychrome images representing flowers made in the cloisonne technique on the bright orange ground. Images are surrounded by geometric and cloud patterns on the cobalt blue ground. The top side is decorated with a band of floral enamel patterns and the bottom part is decorated with dot and cloud ornaments. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions H 4 1/8 in. W 3 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Chips enamel, dents, chips inside. Refer to photos.
