About the Item
Art Deco Period Painted Porcelain Jardiniere ~ Planter combines classic architecture combined with a modernistic approach to result in a unique look that inspired the style. More tailored and sleek than its predecessors during the Art Nouveau movement, such pieces eventually became to precursors to a modernist philosophy that guided and continues to guide style trendsetters until this very day. Hand-painted gold accents over acanthus plume forms envelope the entire rim and accent the base, with a size that is ideal for most dining tables, buffets or mantels.
