About the Item

Our French centerpiece, circa 1880, features a large oval shaped glass bowl exquisitely cut with diamond and shell motifs and engraved with floral designs on the sides, and an ormolu bronze frame with neoclassical goddess masks at the handles, and raised on four legs ending in scrolling feet with garland swags between the legs, mounted on a white marble plinth with bronze beaded design and rosette. Apparently unsigned.
