About the Item

A very fine early 19th century French Kingwood, ormolu-mounted jardinière, the shaped rectangular removable leather top lifts up to reveal a zinc liner, this leads down to a fine quality kingwood frieze to all four sides of the table, the front and back consisting of Sevres style porcelain plaques the sides with superb ormolu mounts, raised on four elegant cabriole legs all with applied ormolu mounts, terminating with ormolu sabots.
