About the Item

A French two-tiered oval shaped jardinière from the early 20th century, with green and white painted metal, scrolling accents and weathered appearance. Created in France during the Turn of the Century in the early years of the 20th century, this two-tiered jardinière features an oval green painted container at the top surrounded by an out-scrolling pierced white hued gallery. The inner part, showcasing nice rust, is removable thanks to two petite handles. This upper section is supported by four slender and delicately scrolling legs gracefully coming down to secure a smaller container in the lower part, with a décor echoed from the top. With its nice colors, distressed appearance and delicate scrolls, this French Turn of the Century two-tiered jardinière circa 1900 will make for a charming addition to any home, placed indoors or outdoors, in a foyer or on a patio!
