About the Item

Important flower pot, designed by the famous Julius Dressler, manufactured by Biela Bodenbach, around 1900, pure Art Nouveau / Jugendstil. Even the basic form is extraordinary: a round base that transforms into a wave-like object with various compartments. Within these elongated sections, flowers climb upwards in beautiful blue and gold tones on green ground. The base color is an attractive ochre. I also have a vase of the same design and from the same manufacturer; please see my other listings. Measurements approx.: height 6,30 in - 16 cm, diameter 7,48 in - 19 cm. An outstanding marked object in stunning original condition, from around 1900 by a famous ceramic artist, an enrichment for your collection and an eye-catcher in your interior.
