Early 20th-century Japanese hibachi crafted in blue-and-white porcelain, decorated with intricate hand-painted patterns encircling a continuous trail of double gourds—auspicious symbols of health, longevity, and good fortune. Several gourds contain traditional landscape scenes with small cottages, beautifully linking the symbolism of prosperity and wellness to the home.
