About the Item

An antique Japanese Meiji Era enamel over brass brush pot. The cylindrical form pot is enameled with polychrome images of blossoming flowers and birds, and a geometrical ornament made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base of the pot are enameled with polychrome floral, foliage, geometrical, and scrollwork motifs made in the Cloisonne technique. The ground is inlaid with a Goldstone. Mounted on three curved legs. Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Pots, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: H 5 1/4 in. D 3 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos.
