About the Item
This large and substantial antique jardiniere was made by the renowned Goldsheider company of Austria in approximately 1910 in the period Art Nouveau style. The planter is done in terracotta with a polychrome painted finish and depicts three semi-nude woman holding hands which comprises the top of the jardiniere, and wearing flowing gowns which compose the bottom of the piece. The jardiniere is signed "J. Tell" on the lower side who was a well known artist for Goldsheider. Please note the dimensions posted for this jardiniere as it is quite large.
