19th Century Gothic Brass Jardiniere with Shields This is a very old piece it is decorated with Lions and Shields and it has a Latin Motto inscribed on both sides which means ‘Virtue in Difficult Times’ The pot is hand made with lion’s mask handles on each side, a truly wonderful looking piece The Pot is in good antique condition it is 13” high and 16” in diameter, there seems to be some lead underneath, this may be due to repairing an old leak but it is a very old addition AH147
