This pair of 18th century Chinese Export polychrome porcelain cachepot are an exceptional example of antique porcelain made by skilled Chinese artisans for the European market. A scalloped rim is detailed by a delicate floral garland and framed by porcelain handles at either side. Polychrome porcelain is characterized by the use of a variety of vibrant colors to render detailed floral motifs - these cachepot are a striking example. Flowers and floral arrangements in various colors appear throughout and are surrounded by stunning red and gold detailing.
