PAIR Set Antique English Oak Barrel Jardinière Planter Rosemaling Hand Painted.
Direct from England, a matched pair of gorgeous decorative antique “barrels” or containers!
The barrels have solid oak staves and wide brass metal banding with beautiful hand-painted floral motifs in a folk art-style, a design likely inspired by Norwegian rosemaling.
The bright, swirling flowers and leaves painted in red, blue, greens and yellow against the dark oak wood create quite a vibrant look!
Customers love these for farmhouse décor, planters for floral arrangements, fireside décor, tablescapes—SO many possibilities, and we’ve never found a matching pair!!
Well built by craftsmen of the period, hand painted with beautiful style, circa1900.
