A Spanish Wrought Iron and Copper Jardinière, 19th Century Description: The tazza form gadrooned copper bowl of the jardinière with an embossed acanthus leaf neck between rope mouldings, rising to an everted rim, above an elaborately scrolled wrought iron openwork body with four branches emanating from the centre and terminating in animal heads bearing loop handles, raised on scrolled legs applied with rosettes and leaves descending to lion’s paw feet. Provenance: Private Australian Collection. Dimensions: Height: 92.5cm. Diameter: 93cm.
