About the Item

Antique Dutch Delft pottery covered urn, mid-18th century, a tin glazed earthenware vessel having a dog finial atop a domed lid, on a ribbed ovoid body, decorated in a blue and red Oriental design, signed with a D AP W monogram on the bottom which I believe is one of the markings for The Two Little Boats (De Twee Scheepjes) Delft factory which was established circa 1756.
