About the Item
French, 19th century.
A fine quality creamware centerpiece in two parts having a polychrome decorated swaged garland to base, 3 figural cherub which not only support a wonderful pierced top but also hold a finely decorated floral and foliate vine. The lid has multicolored fruit finials and a matching floral border to rim. Apparently unmarked.
