This pair of 19th-century handcrafted Greek Peloponnese olive jars have the typical ribbed Nekuma decoration on its round bodice in terracotta clay. The uneven surface has a patinated white wash paired with beautiful remnants of historical red color. Minor fading and scratches due to the age. These garden vessels were often used for storage and transportation. Wear consistent with age and use.
