A refined Late 19th century German decorative porcelain urn by Höchst Porcelain, produced in Germany during the mid to late 19th century. This elegant tableware-form urn features an urn-shaped body with a gently narrowed neck, resting on a round base and topped with a removable domed lid. The white ground is beautifully adorned with hand-painted pastoral countryside scenes rendered in a rich puce, reddish-purple palette, providing a striking contrast to the crisp porcelain surface. The composition is further enhanced by fired gilt gold trim along the rim and lid edge, adding a refined decorative finish. The piece measures approximately 16 inches high with a diameter of 7.5 inches. It is in good condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The underside is signed “Höchst” and bears the wheel trademark, confirming the maker.
