About the Item
UP for you consideration is a beautiful antique Meiji period Japanese gold gilt satsuma incense burner marked/signed by Kinkozan. Very fine hand painting of Japanese Samurai on one side and gentlemen on the other side. Lots of gold gilt with multicolored glaze on the body and decorated with raised white dotted glaze and religious symbols. The lid with temple lion shishi finial, on a tripod curved feet of heads of creatures with beards.
Size: 14in H x 9in W x 8in D
Origin: Japan
Circa: 1900s
Material: Satsuma, Porcelain
Condition: Original condition, hand craft, normal age wear.
