About the Item
An English pair of terracotta urns from the early 20th century. This antique pair of terracotta urns from England are adorn in a motif of winged griffins and a foliage motif, with reeded elements. A solid handle piece flanks either side of the urns, which are raised upon octagonal shaped platform bases. The round shaped top has a nice lip which overhangs the urn below. These pieces have a lovely old patina throughout. These antique English urns will make a beautiful decorative objects or planters for your porch, patio, or garden.

A pair of mid to late 19th century French terracotta garden urns with cherubs after a design by Claude Ballin (1615-1678). An almost identical depiction in bronze resides in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. This pair were sourced from an estate in Scotland.
