Good size at almost four feet tall - 112 CM
The body is crafted from richly colored, translucent green glass, intricately cut with vertical fluting and a central band of diamond-pattern latticework
The glass is further accented with alternating textures, adding depth and light-catching brilliance
The sweeping gilt-bronze handle is elaborately cast with acanthus leaves and scrollwork, leading to a wide, sculpted spout adorned with floral and foliate relief decoration
The neck and lower body are embellished with decorative gilt mounts, while the ewer stands on an ornate circular gilt-bronze base, pierced with scrolling motifs and resting on four paw feet
