About the Item

French Serves-style porcelain gilt bronze ormolu cassolettes urns, Circa 1880-1900 The French porcelain ormolu bronze mounted cassolettes urns have finely hand painted landscapes on one side and scenes in the Boucher style with figures on the other with two-tone matte gloss gold work along with jeweling on a rich cobalt blue enamel ground. The foot and neck with swirl-shaped cobalt blue and white fluting. Cassolettes have reversible bronze finials that also double as candlesticks. The bronze mounts also include great On each side are two satyr-head-bronze-handles. Dimensions: 12 1/4 inches tall x 5 1/2 inches wide.
