About the Item

A pair of Italian hand-carved and painted wood fragment wall or table decorations. These fabulous fragment ornaments from Italy each feature a carved urn, with harp-shaped body embellished adorned in volutes and foliate, with flames rising out of the top. The bronze/gold, red, and various coloring on these pieces help define the details and show movement and depth and have a marvelous patina. Though these Italian fragments can stand (as pictured in the images), their backsides remain flat and un-decorated, making best use as art pieces hanging on a wall.
