Mid-19th Century Grainger Worcester Porcelain Tankard – Rose Pompadour Ground
A fine mid-19th century English porcelain tankard, attributed to Grainger’s Worcester, circa 1850
Decorated with a rich rose-pompadour ground and a finely painted floral bouquet within an ornate gilt scroll cartouche. The elegant scroll-moulded handle features gilt leaf detailing, with gilt bands to rim and foot. Unmarked to the base, as typical for many Grainger pieces of this period.

Width including handle: 13.5 cm
Condition:
Good antique condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Minor surface wear to the pink enamel and light rubbing to the gilding, commensurate with age.
