About the Item

A smart pair of 19th Century bronze Neo-classical urns of good size, with flambeau finials, tapering wrythen fluted caps, above bands of vetruvian scrolls and rams heads with swags, raised on sabre with hoof feet. Mounted on fluted pedestals with further swag mounts and bands of laurel wreaths. Circa 1830. Excellent quality castings and finished in the original built up patina.  H: 52 cm (20 1/2") W: 16 cm (6 5/16") D: 16 cm (6 5/16")
