About the Item
While apparently unmarked, this pair of standing cups are almost certainly by Elkington and Co. and are replicas of a silver gilt example in the Victoria and Albert Museum, hallmarked for 1611 with a makers mark of TYL.
This standing cup at the V&A is illustrated in the "The Collector's Dictionary of the Silver and Gold of Great Britain and North America", by Michael Clayton pg. 93 (Illustration 188).
