Elegant pair of green marble cassolettes with white veins, richly decorated with gilded bronze: lids with pine cones, side handles depicting rams' heads, openwork friezes of scrolls and garlands of flowers. Tiny chips to the marble, wear and tear to the gilding. Napoleon III period- 19th century Height 34cm. 27 x 20cm approx.
