An oustanding pair of Neo-Classical Sienna marble,bronze and gilt-bronze pedestal urns, French circa 1830 Each tazza with a bronze gadrooned bowl, an ormolu beaded tongue rim and upright scrolling acanthus profile handles, the bowl rising from a tapered stem and flared foot applied with bands and rosettes, atop a stepped Sienna marble plinth with a square base mounted by laurel and ribbon ormolu adornment, raised a dais wrapped with bronze lambs’ tongue motif. Height: 34.5 cm Width: 31.5 cm Depth: 22 cm (each) Provenance: Old Australian Collection acquired in 2000s.
