About the Item

A beautiful and finely detailed pair of Tuscan early 19th century Louis XVI st. Terra Cotta urns. Each attractive Pot Pourri urn is raised on a circular socle shaped base with mottled edges. The pierced bodies display charming wrap around palmettes at the base below wonderfully detailed sunburst designed masks at the rim. Pierced designs flank the masks and wrap around the rim of each urn. The removable pierced lids are decorated with similar designs before being finished with acorn finials.
