About the Item
Here is a wonderful vase by Charles Catteau for Keramis, Belgium. The vase depicts a deer and foliage on both sides with a crackle glaze background. It is signed and numbered on the underside.
Condition is very good--there are no chips, cracks or repairs. In the photos, there some areas around the rim that are white--these are not chips, but simply reflections from the glossy glaze. There is some discoloration on the interior of the vase from age and use. The vase has been tested and holds water.
This is a wonderful, dramatic vase by one of the great ceramists of the 20th century.
