About the Item

Never used tall TAC Trent (Trenton) Art China Art Deco ceramic vase. Classic urn design with flaring top with a curved lip, a bulbous center seating on a flaring base over a 5 square inches bottom. Elegant form with a Spring Yellow glaze from 1936. The vase has a very smooth feel and neutral color presence. Condition: New-Old stock, never used. Measurements: 12 inches high x 5 inches square Base x 9 1/2 inches Lip. This elegant and vase was bought in Mexico City in the early 1970s from a venerable high end department store Nietos, established in the 1920s which was liquidating all inventory due to its closing. The vase from past decades, had been found while clearing their stock storage areas, were brought up and displayed on their sales floor. Some of the other named items for sale, Stilnovo lighting, Venini pieces even some Lalique, Nietos must have been an incredible shop in its day. New old stock never used. Hidden treasure even then, now more so.
