Antique Italian mouth blown masterpiece Murano vase from the first part of the 20th century, elegantly shaped in the form of a blooming lily. With its fluid, sculptural lines and ruffled edge, the piece radiates both delicacy and technical mastery. What sets this vase apart is its rare color gradation, subtly shifting from warm golden tones at the rim to clear transparency at the coiled base. This ethereal and iridescent effect is achieved through the infusion of real gold into the glass during the blowing process, a technique reserved for only the most refined pieces.
Standing on a gracefully curled stem that gives the illusion of movement and organic growth of the lily flower, this vase combines nature-inspired form and the sophisticated glasswork for which Murano is renowned.
