This elegant, tall cylindrical vase is a fine piece of vintage Italian art, it'is a distinctive piece of Italian glasswork, crafted on the island of Murano in Venice during the mid-to-late 1970s.
The vase features a tall, cylindrical silhouette. The main body is formed from a subtle, gilded clear glass.
A defining feature is the striking 24k gold leaf or foil band that wraps around the center of the vase, creating a brilliant, metallic contrast. The upper portion of the glass exhibits a faint texture, possibly an inclusion of fine bubbles (bullicante technique) or a deliberate finish.
