About the Item

Late 19th Century Bohemian Gilt Decorated Glass Vase with Portrait Medallion. This beautiful gilt decorated green glass vase is centered by a raised medallion decorated in painted overlay with a portrait of a female in profile. The lower border is engraved and gilt all over, and the vase is elegantly raised on three bun feet. This piece has such an elegance and charm to it, and would make a gorgeous and comment worthy addition to a side table. Though gilt decorated to the outside, it could still be used as a bud vase if handled with care.
