A large 19th-century Chinese rice wine jar From Shanxi Province - circa 1890. Displaying a graceful design where elements of the hand-shaped details are visible throughout, demonstrating a wonderful deep black patina. Featuring a tall raised mouth opening with flared rim spout on a domed-edged top narrowing to a tapered bottom. A graceful shape that would lend itself well to an array of interiors.
